New Music: Gold & Youth “Jewel” [Listen]

      Sonic More Music is proud to present the new single from Gold & Youth called "Jewel". Gold & Youth’s debut full-length record Beyond Wilderness, will be released May 14th via Arts & Crafts.

     Beyond Wilderness was produced and recorded by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, New Pornographers, Dan Mangan) and mixed by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Interpol, Grizzly Bear).

Zeus to release Covers EP called 'Cover Me'

     So the guys in Zeus have picked through their collected minds and have come up with a covers EP of their favourite tunes. The CD called 'Cover Me' will be made available via GalleryAC, or as part of the 'Busting Visions' Deluxe Edition, available April 2 2013. It will also be available at their shows.

Arts & Crafts: 2003-2013 Deluxe Sets

 

    Record Label Arts & Crafts have announced details for their 2003-2013 Retrospective, which will be available in a 2X CD Deluxe Package format and the 4X LP Deluxe Package format. The CD Deluxe packages come complete with a 24-page colour booklet, and the LP Deluxe packages come complete with a hard cover vinyl book, 4 translucent LPs and color booklet. The set covers Arts & Crafts decade of releases, including hits and rarities. 

     The Liner notes for deluxe packaging written by Stuart Berman, who wrote the Broken Social Scene oral biography This Book Is Broken. 

     A&C are saying these deluxe sets may be limited (depending on damand) so pre-order your now!

Lou Cannon hits the road with Hayden

   Toronto singer/songwriter Lou Cannon not only lends her incredible voice to "Blurry Nights" a song on Hayden's new album 'Us Alone' (via Arts & Crafts) she is also about to hit the road with Hayden for a series of tour dates over the next few months. Lou Canon's debut album was produced by Hayden and featured a cover of The Cure's "Close To Me".
