The New My Bloody Valentine album is out!

My Bloody Valentine have confirmed their new album, the follow up to ‘Loveless’ released in 1991, is to be released tonight.

A posting on their Facebook page states “We are preparing to go live with the new album/website this evening. We will make an announcement as soon as its up.”

The bands website has been down all day following rumours the album was to be released within hours.

Video of My Bloody Valentine playing new material & announcing album due this week



     According to the website The Line Of Best Fit during an intimate gig in London tonight (27 January) at Brixton Electric, My Bloody Valentine opened with a new track and reportedly made the announcement to expect a new My Bloody Valentine album in “two to three days.”


One gig-goer on Twitter wrote:

"Kevin Shields has just told the crowd at an MBV warm-up show to expect a new My Bloody Valentine album in “two to three days.” DAYS."

Another confirmed:

"At My Bloody Valentine in Brixton. Kevin Shields said from the stage the new album ‘might be out in two our three days’"

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Tokyo Rocks Festival 2013 with My Bloody Valentine & Primal Scream



  
  So you say you're going to be in Japan in May, I think you may want to head on over to Tokyo and check out this year's Tokyo Rocks Festival. The bands announced so far are Blur, My Bloody Valentine, BrianJonestown Massacre, Primal Scream and they (the organizers) say many more. 

It takes place Saturday 11 May 2013 — Sunday 12 May 2013.
