My Concert Ticket Stubs 1987 - Public Image Ltd- Happy? Tour

    

     I know what you're thinking "But I can't see anything on the stub" Trust me this is the ticket stub from when I saw PiL at Massey Hall back in 1987. I remember we had floor seats and as soon as the first chords were played we jumped over the rows of seats in front of us and we were at the front for the entire show. This is the show I remember bouncing up and down just into everything and John Lydon reaches out and touches my hand…Johnny Rotten touched me? How can you top that?

OFF! Forced To Cancel Shows As Singer Keith Morris Recovers From Diabetic Coma

     Keith Morris, singer with Punk band OFF! and the Black Flag reunion project FLAG is recovering from a diabetic coma Rolling Stone reports. He told Rolling Stone:

I'm a diabetic and I failed to eat lunch. Came back, hung out with my girlfriend, and the whole idea was that we were going to do what grown-ups do-- go take a nap and go get something to eat. I should have eaten first. So we did what we did, and I passed out. As I passed out, I actually blacked out and went into a diabetic-induced coma. So I'm kind of like the T-shirt that's been sitting in the dryer for three days.

   And according to their Facebook Page they have had to cancel their west coast tour: 

Sadly, we have to cancel our west coast tour due to illness. Refunds are available at point of purchase. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to performing in these cities in the near future.

Sid Vicious Dead February 2nd 1979

   Sid Vicious, born John Simon Ritchie died on this date in 1979 from a heroin overdose; Sid was best known as the bassist of The Sex Pistols. If any one person lived the phrase "Live Fast, Die Young " it was Sid…he was only 21 when he died.

Fucked Up Presents Long Winter Volume 4

     Don't miss the last in the Long Winter series taking place on February the 8^th (next Friday night) at The Great Hall in Toronto. As with the previous 3 there will be lots of great music, bands playing are:Fucked Up, Holy Fuck, The Sadies , Kids on TV, Maylee Todd, Rituals,Odonis Odonis and Tasseomancy.  

     And as before there is plenty more going on than just the music there's Film, Art, Dance (I heard that Yacht Club might even be playing) , Rave, Talk, Video Games and Food will be by  HOT MESS HALL.

   So here it is again….Friday February the 8^th at The Great Hall @ 1087 Queen St. W. in Toronto. It's All Ages   Pay What You Can   and it all begins at 8:00PM.
