Paul McCartney's 1984 film Give My Regards to Broad Street Watch the Full Movie

While bin diving for records today I came across the soundtrack to Paul McCartney's 1984 film Give My Regards to Broad Street. When I got home I looked it up on YouTube and to my surprise they have the complete movie streaming.

I admit it's pretty corny but it's also entertaining…and it has Ringo in it, it can't be all that bad if Ringo's in it.

So here it is…enjoy

Mick Hucknall + Stereophonics = The Beatles?

According to a story out of the UK today former Simply Red crooner Mick Hucknall and Welsh rock band Stereophonics are just a couple of the artists signed on so far that will attempt to record The Beatles' debut album in 12 hours as part of BBC Radio 2's celebration of 'The Golden Age Of The Album' later this year.

A story in the NME says "So far, former Simply Red frontman Hucknall, Welsh rockers Stereophonics and singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin have signed on to record versions of the songs featured on The Fab Four's 1963 album 'Please Please Me' in the same brisk timescale the band managed it in 50 years ago. BBC Radio 2 will broadcast from Abbey Road studios throughout the day on Monday, February 11 as the assorted musicians attempt to lay down all of the tracks in limited time."
