Reading the back story ; the kid loved The Who and her Dad got tickets for the show in Hamilton the other night, they came all the way up from the states, she makes this sign that says "Smash your guitar Pete", it's at the end of the first set so her Dad puts her on his shoulders and they move up a bit, then old Pete lets loose on him "Go away with that sign, please," Townshend says. "Don't bring your children, use them. I would tell you two words but I can't because you've got a child with you.", he then mouths the words "Fuck Off"……classy Pete real classy.

The Who announce Quadrophenia Tour
The Who..well Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend to be more precise will be hitting the road this November to play their classic album Quadrophenia in it's entirety plus other hits from their massive catalogue.
As far as Canadian stops on the tour the band will touch down in Montreal on November the 20th, Ottawa November the 21st ,Toronto on November the 23rd @ the ACC and Hamilton Feb 19th 2013. Tickets are going on sale July the 27th, no ticket prices have been given as of yet. If seeing this tour is a must then get ready to pay through the nose because I've got a feeling it's not going to be a cheap show.

SSGS Music News for the Week of May 30th to June 5th, 2011
So the week began with the news that Tupac is alive and well in New Zealand….I’m just gonna leave that one alone.
We then got the word that The Clash are to begin recording their eighth studio album, oh I’m sorry I mean Rancid (I know another Rancid sounds like The Clash joke, but it works so well sometimes).
According to the NME, when U2 play the Glastonbury Festival later this month tax protesters will float a 'huge bundle of fake cash' during their set, in other U2 news they are now offering advertising space on a 'huge bundle of fake cash' that will be visible during their Glastonbury set.
Organizers announced this week that Coachella 2012 will be held over 2 weekends instead of just one…meaning…I still can’t go.
With the release of their latest full length record David Comes To Life Fucked Up are opening up their own “Pop-Up” record store at Toronto's Clint Roenischart gallery at midnight on June the 7th, the day David Comes To Life is officially released, come on down and pick up the record plus a few 7 inches and anything else they can dig out from under Mike’s couch.
According to Pete Townsend’s blog post on The Who.com they (Pete and Roger) will be releasing a Quadrophenia box set sometime in the future.
A one day stunt has reportedly cost online retailer Amazon approximately 3 million dollars. Amazon offered Lady Gaga’s second album 'Born This Way' for only 99 cents, they've moved over 440,000 downloads, this adds up to a little over $3 million dollars. Some say that this was to bring customers in to start using amazon’s new Cloud Drive service, which allows users to store music files on remote servers and stream them over the Internet to their computer or smartphone, but according to the New York Times this may have had the opposite effect, the times was quoted as saying “Amazon may have underestimated the zeal (or thrift) of Lady Gaga’s fans. By early afternoon the company’s servers stalled, and many users were unable to download or listen to the album in full. Frustrated customers quickly took to Twitter and to Amazon’s user review page for “Born This Way.” “Very disappointed,” a customer wrote in a one-star review of the album. “I guess next time I will pay full price and get the album immediately on iTunes.”
Coldplay released a new single this week titled Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall…I don’t hate them, but I don’t like them….oh god I’m a Coldplay Fan
