Review: Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs - All To Myself 7”

Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs have succeeded where a lot of bands fail, they have captured their live show on record, and that record is a 7" piece of vinyl titled "All To Myself".
With their first ever vinyl release "All To Myself"  dropping on the 3rd of July via Hosehead Records , we get a record that takes a myriad of musical styles ranging from garage/surf/punk/country and fuses them all into a very listenable piece of vinyl that will surely leave you wanting more.
The term DIY gets thrown around quite a bit these days but these guys just seem to ooze it, while spinning this record you get this mental image of them banging out the tracks  "on a dirty 8 track in a dirty room" (their words not mine). …the 3 tracks included on the 7" are All To Myself, Do Ya Feel It To? and Lose that bitch.
When it comes to my reviews I don't believe in bull shitting anyone so just do yourself a favor and pick this up from Hosehead Records when it gets released on the 3rd of July and spin it till you can't spin it no more...then buy another copy, and from what I understand there's only going to be like 300 of these bad boys pressed, so don't hesitate.

Eytan and The Embassy - Everything Changes

This is just a really great song and video by Eytan and The Embassy called Everything Changes.

Lead singer Eytan Oren makes 18 costume changes. The video was done in a single take, with no edits. The core theme of the song is that people shouldn't "find themselves" but should "create themselves." It took the band and crew a full day of rehearsal and 30 takes the next day to successfully capture the final video.

Radiohead issue statement after fatal stage collapse

Radiohead drummer Philip Selway released this statement about the tragic events in Toronto this past weekend

"We have all been shattered by the loss of Scott Johnson, our friend and colleague," the statement read.

"He was a lovely man, always positive, supportive and funny; a highly skilled and valued member of our great road crew. We will miss him very much. Our thoughts and love are with Scott's family and all those close to him."

Are The Rolling Stones set to retire from the live arena at Glastonbury 2013?

According to reports from the UK tabloid The Sunday Mirror The Rolling Stones plan on retiring from Live Touring with a Sunday night headlining slot at the 2013 Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid stage.
The Rolling Stones have never played the famous Somerset festival which attracts annually 175,000 music fans.

According to the Mirror "Sources close to the band indicate that the appearance is expected to be the final date in a “handful” of shows in Britain and America in 2013 – which they see as their true 50th anniversary – before they finally retire from the live arena."

I saw the stones live back in 1989 on the Steel Wheels Tour and they did put on a huge show that everyone should see at least once.
