R.E.M. falls back into their Athens Roots with new Record and I feel fine

When you first hear Michael Stipes familiar vocals, it runs through ever song like that comfortable sweater that's older and a bit frayed but you still can't go a winter without trying it on at least once.
With Collapse Into Now R.E.M.'s 15th studio album, even the casual R.E.M. "Fan" will welcome the bands return to a sound that they helped create and shape. Where their last studio record Accelerate released back in 2008 was lacking structure and form, Collapse Into Now is a much more wide-ranging and personnel sounding record.
Stand out tracks include "Discoverer", "It Happened Today" and “Blue”.

Collapse Into Now is out March the 7th via Warner Bros
