Space travel and modern music have always had more than just
a platonic relationship, whether it was Elton singing about the loneliness of
space or Bowie's Major Tom being stranded out in space the two seemed to just
belong as one. The space–music continuum will all accumulate on March the 9th
at The Brownstone Café as performers ascend their stage to take part in the 2nd
Couchiching Community Initiative Fundraiser called "Space Jams".
Local artists will
be performing 'space' themed songs and all funds raised during the night will
go towards sending kids to the CCI summer Space Camp.
So catch the next Enterprise down to The Brownstone in Orillia on the 9th and get ready to have your rockets blown…till
then Live long and prosper.
